Scotland has lot one of its two Champions League places for the 2010-11 season. The SPL confirmed that Thursday’s Europa League results for Belgian clubs saw them overtake Scotland into 15th spot in UEFA’s co-efficient rankings table.

After last night’s violence involving Rangers fans, UEFA have now came out and charged the Ibrox side with improper conduct of their supporters. The reigning SPL champions will have to wait until next Thursday with UEFA’s Control and Disciplinary Body making their decision then.

After the shocking performance against Motherwell on Saturday afternoon, Celtic managed to better that performance in the worst way possible. Once again chances were missed and defensive errors once again played a huge part in proceedings.
