Clyde searching for new manager as John Brown departs thumbnail

Clyde have announced that manager John Brown has left the club, who currently sit bottom of the Second Division. A statement on the club’s official website read, “Clyde FC can confirm tonight (Saturday) that John Brown has left his position as manager.”

The announcement was made shortly after Clyde’s 3-1 home defeat to East Fife, which left them three points adrift of Arbroath.

Former Rangers defender Brown took over the managers job at Broadwood Stadium in January 2008 following the resignation of Colin Hendry. He led Clyde to First Division survival but the club were relegated at the end of the 2008/09 season after finishing bottom of Division One.

Clyde have recorded only three wins from 15 games and have played one game less than ninth-place Arbroath.

So who is the next manager of Clyde FC? Who should get the job? We want your views.

Bit behind the news lads, that was last Thursday :-)

Former Morton, Queens Park and Albion Rovers manager John McCormack has taken on first-team coaching duties, expect him to stay on.
