SPL champions Rangers will meet SPL new boys St Johnstone in the semi-finals of the League Cup in February following today’s draw at Tynecastle.
The Ibrox club, who beat Dundee 3-1 in the last round, have won the trophy a record 25 times. St Johnstone, overcame Dundee United in the last round.
Holders Celtic were knocked out by Hearts in the quarter-finals and Csaba Laszlo’s men meet St Mirren who beat Motherwell in the last eight.

Ties to be played Tuesday February 2 and Wednesday February 3.
