Motherwell have been drawn to play Welsh side Llanelli in the first qualifying round of the Europa League. The draw took place this morning in Nyon, Switzerland.
The first leg will take place at Airdrie’s Excelsior Stadium on 2 July, with the return leg a week later on the 9th July in Wales. Motherwell are using the Excelsior Stadium for their first round tie, and the second round if they progress, due to work being done to the Fir Park pitch.
With only ten days to go before the home leg, Motherwell have still to appoint a new manager after Mark McGhee left to join former Club Aberdeen at the end of last season.
The team who will qualify for the next round, will face Albanian side KS Flamurtari with the first leg played in Albania on the 16th July and the return leg on the 23rd.
